Start collecting
Name a collection, then share its upload link, QR code or email address. Everything people send lands in one private list that only you can open.
Owners need a free account with a verified email. People who send you files never do.
Upload link and QR code
Email address for attachments
One private file list
Two ways to send you files
An upload link with a QR code
Share the link in a chat or show its QR code on screen. Contributors choose up to 5 files of 5 MiB each from a phone or computer, with no sign-up and no app.
An email address
Every collection has its own temporary address. Attachments sent to it, up to 50 per message and 5 MiB each, join the same list as browser uploads.
How it works
- Name it
Create a collection and, if you like, add instructions that contributors will see.
- Share it
Send the upload link, show the QR code or give out the email address.
- Download
Files arrive with their source, time, sender and note. Download them one by one or all at once as a ZIP.
- Delete
Delete files or the whole collection when you are done. Anything left is removed when it closes.
What contributors can and cannot do
- They can send supported files through the link or by email until the collection closes.
- They need no account, and can add their name and a note if they wish.
- They cannot list, open, download or delete any file, including their own.
- They never see what other people sent or who else contributed.
- Only the owner, signed in with a verified account, can see and manage the files.
Limits and lifetime
- Browser uploads: up to 5 MiB per file, 5 files at a time.
- Email: up to 5 MiB per attachment; the first 50 attachments of each message are considered.
- The whole email can be up to 9.5 MiB, including encoding, so attachments must be smaller.
- Each collection: up to 50 files and 50 MiB in total.
- Accepted: PDF, PNG, JPEG and plain text, with contents that match the extension.
- Open for up to 60 minutes. You can close it sooner but never extend it.
- Up to 3 open collections per account.
When it helps
Website and document reviews
Gather PDF comments and screenshots from reviewers in one place before a deadline.
Screenshots from testers
Testers scan the QR code and send screenshots or log files straight from their phones.
Receipts from several people
Collect receipts or signed forms from a group. Each person can add a name, so you know who sent what.
Receive a file without sharing your email
Accept a document from someone without giving out your personal address or opening a shared folder.
How it compares with cloud file requests
File requests in Dropbox, Google Drive (through Google Forms) or OneDrive save uploads into permanent storage, and features such as deadlines, email uploads or guest access can depend on a paid plan, a work account or the sender signing in. A collection is the temporary alternative: one list for link and email uploads, visible only to its owner.
- Contributors never need an account.
- Every collection has both an upload link with a QR code and an email address.
- The deadline is built in: up to 60 minutes, and you can close it sooner.
- Nothing stays behind: files and the receiving inbox are deleted automatically.
Safety and privacy
- Only PDF, PNG, JPEG and plain-text files are accepted, and their contents must match the extension.
- Files are not scanned for malware. Open only files you expect, from people you know.
- You can delete any file at any time, and everything is removed automatically when the collection closes.
The list shows files, not emails: subjects, message text and replies are never shown, and an email without attachments adds nothing.
Questions about collecting files
Do contributors need an account?
No. Anyone with the upload link or the email address can send files. Only the owner needs a free account with a verified email.
Can contributors see other files?
No. Contributors can only send files. Only the signed-in owner can list, download or delete them, and contributors never see who else sent something.
How do I send files by email?
Attach PDF, PNG, JPEG or text files to a message and send it to the collection’s address. Up to 50 attachments of 5 MiB each are considered per message; the message text itself is not kept.
Which file types and sizes are accepted?
PDF, PNG, JPEG and plain text, with contents that match the extension. Browser uploads take up to 5 MiB per file and 5 files at a time; a collection holds up to 50 files and 50 MiB.
Can I extend the deadline?
No. A collection stays open for up to 60 minutes. You can close it sooner or stop new uploads, but not extend it. Create a new collection if you need more time.
What happens when the collection closes?
Uploads and downloads stop at the deadline, and scheduled cleanup deletes the files and the receiving inbox. Download what you need first; deleting a collection revokes access immediately.
Why hasn’t my emailed file appeared?
Check that the attachment is a supported type and fits the email and collection limits. Delivery can take a moment, so select Refresh on the owner page. Messages without attachments never appear as files.
Is there a QR code?
Yes. The owner page shows a QR code for the upload link, so people can open it on a phone without typing.
Are files scanned for malware?
No. Each file’s contents are checked against its extension, but there is no malware scan. Open only files you expect.
Can I use it as permanent storage?
No. Collections are for short tasks such as gathering review PDFs and screenshots. Keep your own copy of anything you need.
How many collections can I have?
Up to 3 open at a time, each with up to 50 files and 50 MiB. Delete one, or let it close, to start another.
Which languages are supported?
The pages are available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Arabic. Contributors see the upload page in the language of the link you share.
