Temporary Email Questions and Answers
The essentials for using your temporary inbox, with honest answers about its limits.
What is a temporary email address?
A temporary email is a short-lived inbox for receiving messages without giving a sender your personal email address. Use it for a one-off task when you do not need lasting access to the account.
How do I use this inbox?
Copy your address from the inbox, paste it into the form you are using, and return to the inbox to read incoming messages. Keep the inbox tab open while you wait, and use Refresh if a message does not appear.
How long does an address last?
Each domain sets its inbox lifetime. The countdown shows the remaining time reported by the mail service. Save anything you need before it expires; expired inboxes cannot be recovered.
Can I receive verification codes?
The inbox can receive email messages, including codes and links. Delivery depends on the sender, and some services reject disposable addresses. An email inbox cannot receive an SMS code.
Why has my verification email not arrived?
Check the full address, its remaining lifetime, and the connection indicator. Refresh the inbox and allow time for the sender. If the website rejects the address, use an email type it accepts.
Can I send or reply to messages?
This inbox is for receiving email. It does not have a compose, reply, or forwarding feature. Use a regular mailbox when you need a conversation.
Does a temporary email unlock paid or student plans?
No. Receiving an email does not change a tool’s pricing or eligibility rules. Student benefits require the provider’s own verification process; an academic-looking domain is not proof of enrollment.

Should I use it for an account I want to keep?
Use a lasting address or an appropriate email alias for accounts that need future login codes, password recovery, receipts, or important records. A temporary inbox is intended for short-term tasks.
